yay! i went shopping and actually bought things! I've been to the shops at least 4 times a week since school holidays started, looking for shoes... bags... belts... work clothes... etc. And I was unsuccessful until tonight :) yay!

I bought a cute beach/casual bag with strawberries on it... and shoes from Williams. I bought them for comfort more than anything else. They will be for work when summer starts. My feet hurt when I wear pretty but uncomfortable shoes. So I thought I'd be sensible and buy shoes that will support my feet throughout the whole day.

Went to the school to tidy up my room and prepare for next term. I didn't like the way the room was set up and I didn't like the appearance of the room either. So I thought I'd do a mini renovation and shifts a few things here and there. In the end I only made a slight difference to the amount of space in the room and pulled down posters that i couldn't put back up because I was too short! >.<

Printed, photocopied and laminated a few games for the children. If I ever have some extra money not being used, I'm gonna use it to by a photocopier, a guillotine and a laminator. They are sooooo handy! lolz... especially for teaching resources.

Took a trip down memory lane today. Went to the city to borrow a few books from the ERC. It felt so weird being amongst all the other uni students there... shuffling into the trains and trams... waiting at the traffic lights ready to cross the road... watching people look at their notes/assignments... walking into the library and finding people at the discussion tables talking about presentations they had to finish etc.

I felt like I had never left uni... until I realised that I didn't have a uni library card that actually worked... or a login user name and password to get online in the labs. So I sat in the library for an hour... studying music books like I had an assignments to complete... and then it was off home. I was planning on staying longer in the city... maybe catch up with a few friends... but then my phone was running out of battery so I couldn't call anyone.

Oh wellz, i'll be back there again soon enough... i still need to borrow those books.
