Went to the beach today with the same ppl as the night before. We had spontaneously decided to go to the beach on our way back from the dinner. Just coz it was gonna be 37 degrees and we hadn't been to the beach in ages. I had work from 12 - 4pm so we couldn't go in the day. But it was perfect timing coz the sun was still blazing hot around 4ish. It only started to cool down a little around 5 but not so much that you had to wear extra clothing. It was gorgeous weather.

We had planned to go to Seaford (wherever that is) but changed our minds and went to Mordiallic beach instead. It was funny though coz on the way there we miss the turning to Modiallic beach and we didn't realise until we were about 5-10mins away from Seaford. But we were meeting Rani and Robby at Modiallic so we stuck to our plan and turned around. The beach wasn't very crowded. Maybe coz it was late already or maybe coz the sand was so grainy. As soon as we hit the beach, the grains of sand really exfoliated our feet... it wasn't soft squeaky sand like I wanted, which also meant I couldn't build my sand features coz the sand wasn't sticking properly. I managed to make one little turtle... though I think the waves got to it and washed it away... :( Can't believe I didn't bring my camera again and neither did anyone else. Grrr... >.<

Anyways, we stayed to watch the sunset... awwwww... romantic yeah? haha. In the end, Rani and Robby didn't join us coz they were building a BBQ (don't ask! :P). So it was just us four, happily sitting on the grainy sand beach, eating fish and chips, while watching the sunset. Just beautiful. Definitely a picture perfect moment (grr, if only i had brought my camera!)

It was starting to get a little chilly so we decided to pack up and leave. I was also feeling quite tired by then. But our day didn't end there. We payed a visit to Rani and Robby, picked them up and went to Mel's place to watch a movie. "Shawshank Redemption". It was an interesting movie. At the start I wasn't too sure whether it was a movie I'd really wanna watch. But towards the end it got better. It had a good twist to it. Can't be bothered to explain what it was about. hehe. The cover of the DVD said that the movie went for 284mins. haha. But somehow we didn't think that was right. It only went for approx 180mins. So I think they made a boo boo on the cover. hehe.

It was about 1am by the time we left Mel's. And I was dead tired. Went straight home and into bed.
