Our house smells like paint. Why? Because we just had our ceiling painted. Remember how a few weeks ago, one of our pipes had burst and made a hole in our ceiling? Well, we patched it up today but it meant we also had to repaint out whole ceiling coz the paint wouldn't be the exact colour. So at 8 this morning I got woken up by my dad semi-breaking our ancient yet reliable clock that we have had in our family for so many years (years, not generations :P). Its like a family member, we've had since I can remember. It's the only clock I have ever known to tell the time in our family. So when I rushed downstairs to find dad trying to put the hands of the clock back together, I was devasted. he had been trying to move everything so there was space for the painter to paint. Plus to move everything so it wouldn't get paint on it. My brother - the mr. fix it in the house - attended to the clock, while I quickly ran back upstairs to escape the painter seeing me in my pyjamas, still hoping that my brother would fix the clock. By 12 noon the painter had finished the first coat of paint. By 3pm he had finished it entirely and left little pieces of dried paint debri for us to clean up. Now our ceiling looks so white and our walls look blue-ish grey. hehe. But I dont think you can really tell the difference, unless you stare at it for a little while. And yes, the clock is fixed! YAY! hehe. It happily sits on our wall once again. Like it was brand new. :D

Oh, and by the way... have I mentioned that I dont like driving?! :(
