Yesterday MUGG (melb uni glenny group, haha, its too long to keep typing out the people's names) had breakfast - yes, breakfast - at Rani's place. He made us delicious pancakes with BACON and MAPLE SYRUP. Yes, I thought it was a weird combination but try it! It is differently delicious! Thanks Rani for breaky... was very yummy! And very filling! He made us three pancakes each... and big ones at that! I think he gave me the biggest but I managed to finish it all. I was quite proud of myself. Normally, I don't think I would have finished it but I was quite hungry, eating breakfast at 11am! lolz It was more brunch. We had also decided that we would go to the city for lunch but because we ended up having our breakfast so late, I don't think any of us had room for lunch.
Rani had to be back home by 3pm so by the time we finished breaky, we had 3 hours to kill. After chilling in Rani's room, me playing with his i-dog (which is soooo cool! I want one! hehe), standing outside mikey's red barina, we eventually decided to go to Southland either to shop or see a movie. I don't think the boys really wanted to shop so we voted to see a movie. Saw 'Family Stone'. And I quite liked it. It wasn't what I expected though. I thought it would be more comedy. Like it was funny but it had a lot of emotional parts to it as well. haha, Mel and I were crying so much, haha. Won't spoil it for those who want to see it, but basically it was about a family getting together for Christmas (don't know why they didn't screen it before Christmas) and one of the sons brings his girlfriend home with him. Nobody likes the girlfriend but the son intends to marry her. So the movie is basically about this girlfriend trying to fit in with the family but the family is always giving her a hard time. Funny but sad at the same time.
Well after the movie, we all decided to go home. We were so tired for some reason. I dunno what the others did, but I went home to sleep. lolz. But the day didn't end there. Whilst talking on the net to Rani, we wanted to do something that night. I suggested we have a card game night (after having so much fun playing spit the night before). Rani suggested mahjong. Somebody needs to come over and teach me how to play it! My mum bought a set from China and it hasn't been touched once! lolz. Coz nobody in my family knows how to play it! haha So anyone wanting to teach a poor deprived asian girl... lemme know! ;D Then Rani came up with 'Anti-Monopoly'. Anyone heard of that? I didn't until last night. Basically its the same as the original Monopoly but with a few twists. Mikey had the game so we ended up playing that at my place. We (minus Mel) played until 1am. It was lotsa fun. Mikey kept owing money to everyone coz he landed on our properties. Bud loved collecting $1 notes and giving it to Rani for rent. Rani had bought a lot of property along 2 streets and we just happened to keep landing on all of them. 28 was the number of the day. haha. We were always paying Rani $28 for rent. In the end, we didn't get to finish the game properly coz all the guys had to get up early the next morning. But I think Bud would have won. He was the only person who had a blue note (i.e. $500) and a lot of property. hehe.
We should have a card game nite. I want a card game night! :P
