now i know why i didn't want to go back to work...

scrap that... I now know why i DO want to go back to work. :)

had my first official day back at school with the kids. i still and always will have a part of me that would love to have my last year's grade back... but i must admit, this year's class is already growing on me. i had my reservations from what i knew about a handful of the children i was going to teach... and my expectations were met for most. there are a few challenging kids in my grade... but nothing a stern voice and strict consequences can't fix! ;) there are also a good handful of other students who, as i got to know them throughout the day, were such a pleasure to have.

today was fun. and its only day one :)
