so as i sit here at 2:30 in the morning... i tell myself that i should be sleeping after having such a big night last nite. but i slept the whole day and i think my body clock is just out of whack. while i still feel the symptoms (eg. sore legs, headache, eyes hurting) of having too much fun and not enough sleep two nights in a row, i decided to blog about a few things on my mind before i retire for the night. they will be short dot points that i may or may not come back to elaborate on. at least when i read back on this day, i can jog my memory of these following topics/issues:

- manicures are really good to have with a friend and when you want to relax
- going out till 5am is lots of fun but be prepared for what you have to endure after
- spending time with the right company can always make a dull moment bright (and definitely put a smile on your face)
- ask yourself 'are you a selfish person?' and really think about it. think about the things you do that you may think are helping other people than yourself... but then think about who gains more.
- people are different. that's what makes everyone unique. people fulfill their lives in very different ways. who's to say which way is right or wrong? or which way is better? don't let others judge you because you have different morals/values/beliefs. always trust in yourself and know that you have a choice. choose the one that's best for you.

ok, so those two last points may sound 'deep'. reason is that i just came back from chatting with a couple of friends who really made me think about the decisions i make in life and how that affects not only myself but others around me. i like engaging in such reflective and meaningful conversations ... your brain needs stimlus like that once in a while.

my thoughts @ 2:34 AM
